Jean Royer Vin de Table "Petit Roy"
Availability: | In stock (3) |
Jean-Marie Royer’s everyday wine is a blend of fruit (Mourvedre) from vineyards just outside of Chateauneuf plus Grenache, Syrah and a little Alicante from a vineyard inside the Chateauneuf boundary that wasn’t included in the AOC. Plus a little Chateauneuf du Pape wine that didn't quite fit the blends for those wines. He should really be allowed to call this a Cotes du Rhone, but the rules say he must label it as "Vin de Table" and not make any note on where it's from or vintage.
